"Modern Day Anarchy"

To this day, I’ve been disappointed that someone taking the corner hasn’t seen the anarchy symbol and thought “Yea, screw the man!” and continued straight ahead.

"Storm Cloud over Park #2"
Shot with Camerabag

We found ourselves on a walk to the store just as the weather was starting to come a-blow.  The clouds had amazing energy and depth that I wanted to capture so I said “screw-you” to the landscape and concentrated on reducing blow-out in the sky.

"Los Gatos Theater, Night"
Los Gatos, California

As we left downtown Los Gatos on our last evening in-town, I made sure to grab a shot of the theater with all of it’s neon lit-up.

"Jarritos"
Andalé; Los Gatos, California
Shot with Camerabag

Hanging out at the local “taqueria” with mom after work.  I’m not kidding, I was in there for at least 20 minutes before it dawned on me what the name of the place was.  The type-face of the logo was just fancy enough that I had misread it initially, leaving me to wonder who “Andals” was.

"Detail -Los Gatos Post Office"
Los Gatos, California

I have a “thing” for post office signs.  I don’t quite understand it myself.  On-the-one-hand, there’s the design aesthetics, especially if it’s type-set using Century Gothic… I LOOOOVE me some Century Gothic.  On-the-other-hand, there’s that feeling of satisfaction that comes when I realize that I am someplace new… that sense that “I’ve stepped-out of what I know to go off and explore and to have an adventure”.  Somehow, visiting or just passing-by a post office in a strange place makes that feeling much more palpable.
